To create and make something beautiful is the highest form of living for me. Beauty is always the driving force, but if it doesn't serve as well as offer joy, peace and ease- then it’s a failure.
This breakfast nook is from Traditional Homes. The quote on the magazine shows that the function of the area is serving its purpose very well!!! Love to see design when it is both beautiful and functional!
In lasting design- function precedes form. Because good looks alone doesn't cut it- much like marring a beautiful woman with no sense of humor- Seriously…it quickly becomes a drag! When designing- I strive for both function and form.
This adorable bed from Elle Decor is definitely beautiful and so functional with the storage, privacy, and fun.
