Thankful for....

At this time of giving thanks, I want to let you in on something I'm most grateful for... a deeply, resonating wisdom that everything is going to be alright. I learned this from several 'teachers' including my parents, grandparents, great mentors, loving friends, and an occasional seat in a pew.

This wisdom has not always been immediately present in my life- but when I calm down- I really know that--- whatever it is--- is really all going to be alright.  And in fact, far better than just 'alright.'  It's going to be perfect!

A friend sent me this in an email several years ago when I was just getting started in design, ending a long-term relationship and uncertain of just about everything.  I was questioning whether I'd have enough talent to make a living.... if anyone would like my work..... if I'd ever find love again..... if I could raise my kids well... It helped me then and still does now.

Here are those wonderful words of wisdom:

Don't torture yourself!
It does no good.
Don't give such RIDICULOUS importance to those things that you don't want to happen.
No detour or setback you may ever encounter will keep you from where you're going. To a land of plenty, to a time of bliss, to a place of laughter, friends and love. You're every cup will runnethover.

At this time of thanksgiving, I wish everyone a peaceful heart, the warmth of family and friends and the joy of knowing good is all around each of us everywhere...we just have to look.

All the best,
Cindy

Such wonderful and deep words. It's hard to focus when times are tough! But, when you have support of family and friends the going gets easier. When one hears and observes the World around us, it truly makes you feel thankful for all the things that you have and more importantly the people in your life. They strenghten you with their support, words or in some cases just by their presence.

I am so thankful for all the wonderful people I know and their formative role in my life.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends!
