When I think of summer time I always picture a couple sitting on the front porch of their house enjoying each others company. This time of the year is a great time to start thinking about how to liven up your outdoor space.
These designers, Annemarie and Rosemarie diSalvo with Keith Mazzei for the Hampton Designer Showhouse, added personality to this porch. I love the upholstered boards, pattern and bright colors on the porch. It makes the porch a place you want to be.
Don't forget details and accessories for your porch too. This designer, Georgie McGowan, added shells, pictures and potted plants for accessories to bring personality to the porch. She also choice unique fixtures to highlight this area.
By adding some accessories, a rug, pillows or changing the light fixtures on your porch can make a huge difference on the feel your porch will give off...it will draw you to that area.
