Secret Weapon

I too, like Jan Showers in the Traditional Homes Magazine, think a distinctive mirror pulls a room together and in a great investment piece.  

               

A neat trick is to use an antique mirror to expand a space-an idea that's been used since the 16th century.

This is a great example from NYC Furniture Restoration.
