Room to Grow

Leaving room to grow in design is vital and is what separates good design from great design. And it sometimes requires a lot of patience. Stuffing every nook and cranny with ‘artificial’ objects- as opposed to meaningful objects that find their way to you over time is much like taking all your family photos at once! If you did that – you’d miss the magic, the experience and the memories.

We find family photographs in every home- highlighting them with magnificent frames is an excellent way to show off your loved ones.

Objects hold energy; they can transport you back in time or propel you into a desired future outcome. We fill our homes with photographs, gifts or amazing souvenirs that have found their way into our life over time.

Artwork and antiques create personal collections that evolve and grow over a person's lifetime.

When designing a space, I am ever present to my client intensions – what they want – how they want to feel - what they are dreaming about. Knowing these things is just as vital as knowing their favorite color.

The large cabinet was designed by this homeowner and was thus placed in one of the most prominent places in her home.

Good design doesn’t happen all at once, it evolves over time. So give yourself room to grow!
