Pieces of a Great Closet

Closets don't have to be boring!  I found this article in Elle Decor Magizine on great ideas to step up your closet!

An essential in every house is a full length mirror.  How else are you suppose to see how glamous you are without one?  So why not put that mirror in your closet.  For smaller closets a great solution is a pull out mirror.

A way to customize your closet is by installing a clothing island.  It can be customized to your style, closet design and different storage solutions based on what you're going to keep in it.

What about blowing out the wall between your bathroom and closet to create a Wardrobe Bathroom, this is also one of the suggestions from Elle Decor.

Have you ever tried getting dressed in the dark?  It usually doesn't turn out that well.  That is why lighting is so important in a closet.  Daylight is a great light source when matching colors.  In a closet with no windows try a light tub.  You could also add another lighting element with a lighted clothing rod.

Hi Katie, This picture of your son is so sweet! I pbblaory would have done the exact same thing with covering him up and leaving him there, especially because I know the minute I moved him, he would be awake! You asked me on my blog post this morning about whether or not I made the fabric diaper bags. I wish I could say I made them...I'm so not a seamstress! I got one as a gift for my first baby (girl), and then with the second (boy) a year and a half later, I had my mom make me one. She's the REAL seamstress in the family!! I bet they have tutorials for this kind of thing. I love have the diapers organized, and of course, looking cute!OK, sorry...I just realized how long this comment is. Next time, I'll have to shoot you an e-mail. ;)Hope you're having a great Monday!
