Fashion designer Rebecca Moses says, "True style is understanding who we are and having the conviction to express it." In other words, we shouldn't be afraid to make our clothing style, office space and most importantly, our homes our own unique forms of expression.
Finding a piece of furniture or accessory that you love is an awesome feeling - don't hesitate to take it home with you, even if its a little different than the style of your home. Layering different styles, textures sith objects you love turns a house into a home.
Our spaces are some of the best gateways to our personalities, our history and our futures. You can tell a lot about a person by their space- what books they have read, the number of pillows on their bed, or the souvenirs they have collected throughout their life.
As designers, we use period styles as a source of inspiration then create a design that best demonstrates your evolution and screams out your personality.
