Early this year, Pantone announced its color of the year, "Courageous. Confident. Vital. A brave new color, for a brave new world. Let the bold spirit of Honeysuckle infuse you, lift you and carry you through the year. It’s a color for every day – with nothing “everyday” about it."
Yes! It's pink! Notably a very 'brave' color that is rarely used outside of a nursery or girl's bedroom. But check out the following rooms that display the mature side of pink!.
In this more contemporary space by Katie Lydon, the subtle pink lays a beautiful foundation for the brilliant artwork and almost disappears into the background.
This bedroom by one of my favorite designers, Suzanne Kasler, pairs this beautiful pink with pops of white.
