nostalgianostalgia"...O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there:
Oh, say! does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave..."
When I see the next trend I feel like this music should be playing in the background. This trend is called...

This trend consists of things vintage, stars and stripes, simplicity, nostalgia, and things made in American. Here are a few examples.

This bed from Vaughan-Bassett shows the simplicity that can be seen in this trend.

This table by Vanguard is definately nostalgia because it displays the U.S. national bird, the eagle.

The stripes on this Hickory Chair are a subtle way of showing patriotic spirit.

This Currey & Company light fixture definately looks vintage.

This piece of furniture fits in with this design trend because of the style and color of the piece. This is a French Heritage piece.
The pictures and content are taken from the 2011 High Point Market Publication.
How have you liked these new design trends so far? Please share with me. I'd love to hear your opinion.
Only 2 new design trends left. Come back to see what they are.
