Thanksgiving is one of those days that our families begin traditions and continue them for years. I love playing games and there's a handful of them my family plays every year at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Most of them don't require more than a box of dominoes, a deck of cards, or a kickball. Here's a list of fun games to play- click on the names to be led to their directions.....
Mexican Train- a simple game involving dominoes. As few as 2 people and up to 13 people can play.
Spoons - One of my favorite card games involving a single deck of cards, a handful of spoons and some need for a little speed and competition.
Kickball - If you've got a great ball, bring back this fun childhood game!
Red Rover - Childhood memories come back as you line your family up in two lines facing each other.
Conversation Cube - I bought this game years ago and it finds its way to my dinner table more than just on special occasions. Its great for sparking up fun conversations with your kids, family members you haven't seen in a long time or large groups of people.
I would love to hear about your family traditions and games you might play when the gang all gets together!
