Materials Marketing Event

On Thursday evening, By Design Interiors was invited to Materials Marketing- a tile and stone vendor- to view a new line they are introducing called New Ravenna.  It is a BEAUTIFUL line of custom stone and glass mosaics! While I wasn't able to attend, my assistant Erika and intern Kaitlyn made the trip downtown.  The photos they took were amazing!

The fabricators are located in Virginia and create custom floor and wall designs by hand!  They can work off of detailed technical drawings or simply off of photographs!

Yes!! These are glass mosaics!  There are about 30 shades of glass and anything can be done! I mean it......

ANYTHING!!!  This is actually a different line of glass products, Sicis, which I have been head-over-heals in love with for several years now!

This is Lynn from Materials Marketing; Erika and I have been in email contact with Lynn for awhile now and Erika finally had the privilege to meet her!  She is incredibly knowledgeable and showed Erika and Kaitlyn some amazing projects she has worked on.

One of the rules my team has "always ask the experts."  They really know their stuff and can drastically reduce your design and sourcing time because-- they know things!

My guilt tends to look like the otsppioe of guilt itself. I foreshadow guilt with signs of joy, happiness, comfort, and confidence in hopes of subduing the genuine thoughts and feelings I have about any particular situation. Guilt gets the best of me at times, and it often will have me doing some crazy things. For instance, I was out with a friend on Labor Day weekend, but I was scheduled to work a 5-11 p.m. shift at a job I will not disclose (lol). However, as usual I did not want to go to work and was influenced to call out- as I dialed the seven digits, and strategically prepped what I was going to say (that I had fallen ill), the boss respond, I need you, someone quit this morning and I can't find a replacement for you .can you PPPPLLLLEEEAAASSSEEE come in ? I will buy you lunch! Guilt took over and I immediately seceded from my plan and within the next half hour was at work in dread of the shift ahead.SO nonetheless guilt gets the best of me, but I will foreshadow it with happy thoughts and energy before I give in I hope this helps..
