March Movie Month...The Good Wife

Today's movies are not just about a good plot...but they are creating some fabulous set design!
Join me for the month of March when I revel some great movies with fantastic design sense!

This isn't a movie, but I love the set design of The Good Wife...designed by Beth Kushnick.  She has quite a list of other famous sets including National Treasure, Wanted, Fringe...

I love the blue/neutral color scheme, warm wall color, and the furniture is great too!

I like that the kitchen isn't your average kitchen...with it's unique cabinets, and shelves across windows.

In an interview on Los Angelous Times, Kushnick said that her goal was always to make the place look lived-in or worked-in...even down to the grocery list hanging on the frig, seasonings and fake food containers in the cabinet.

This painting by Vu Nguyen was selected for Alicia's office because of the color palette and image.  The designer that selected this piece for the scene said it is important to think about how the artwork will look with an actor's head in front of it...will the piece distract from the scene.

Stayed tuned to see what movie set I pick next!

yes I knew right off the bat that this will transform how we scaoil network. Take it a step further and imagine if we combined this with 24/7/365 always on cameras, mics, maybe even one day neuromorphic sensors embedded in the brain that could live broadcast your entire gestalt. This is the hive mind. I do think though there needs to be customizeable privacy options and content filters. So say for instance you could manually pause your live public feed when your in the bathroom having sex etc.

If your thinking woldnut being able to frequently pause your feed whenever you want defeat the inherentlly public/transparent purpose, I think that people will be less inclined to be on pause too often because While on pause, not only will other people not be able to access your live stream but you will not be able to access theirs either.

Hi Tazaki Sensei! This is your past speaking. A frenid living in Japan sent your website and I was tickled to see you looking so bright and chipper. This is Peggy McLaughin Keener, your NHK assistant from 1963. I must say that in looking at your recent photos, you look like a Japanese Frank Sinatra. Don't know if you consider that a compliment or not, but I think it's a good one.I am now 73, very perky and living in Minnesota near our third child. Don't know if you remember that I became pregnant while working on your show. Erin was my Made In Japan baby. She is now a nationally recognized physician. Do you suppose she got her smarts while in the womb listening to us teach English?Working with you on the program had a major influence on my life. Although we left Japan in 1965, we returned some years later and stayed for another dozen years. I was easily hired to teach English because of my association with you and was employed in all kinds of jobs during those twelve years. It was a great experience. My absolutely hands-down favorite photo from your website is you with your first love. Everything about you screams confidence . Even then you were starting on your public destiny.I am hopeful that this message finds you in continuing good health. I'm wondering if Mary and George have made you a grandfather? I cannot remember the name of your girlfrenid way back in 1965, but if you are still in touch, I would appreciate your giving her my best. Most sincerely, Peggy

I went with 2. I'm not that confident. There have not been enugoh changes to the roster yet. Horton + Seguin will help, Seidenberg is an improvement over Wides though the sporadic offense of the latter could be missed. Unfortunately, too many players from the losing squad are returning as of now. I suppose the argument from some will be yeah but a healthy Krejci etc. But injuries happen every year and given what I still feel is a too-soft forward corps, they're likely to occur again. I feel like we're still an impact trade and a couple role players away from the ideal balance to this lineup.Right now, I don't see any reason to expect significantly different results from the past couple years. Fans are always optimistic this time of year so I imagine I'm much in the minority. Hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised. BTW until we see this group win the kind of games they have lost in the playoffs 3 years running, let's not give extensions to Chara and Bergeron. If this turns out to be another disappointing year and I dearly hope it's not then you can't just keep bringing the same core back year after year. In other words, let these guys earn extensions, don't give them away before the results are in.
