How Designers Think...Candace Olson

Passion for design exceeds the classroom - although degreed in Interior Design - I'm a life long learner.  I study the work and am inspired daily by other designers from all periods of time!

Candace Olson

Quoted from Surya Catelog, "The essence of good design is the ability to sustain long-term integrity - to become classic.  The contrast and juxtaposition of the materials I use create a distinctly personal space that looks as if it has evolved over time."

I like both *sides* of the card, as individual cnepocts, but other than the blue color and the fonts, the sorta seem like they're not a stylistically unified whole. IDK does that makes sense? It's like I look, and I see two really, really solid contenders for a final design, not a unified final design. Where is the chunky spiraly goodness integrated into the back? Where is the coyote integrated into the front? I think that if I held this card in my hand, it might not send the best message about consistency in design, because even though both sides are great, and eye-catching, they don't really combine to make a sensibly integrated whole.Does this make sense?
