As the new year is quickly approaching, its hard not to think of what 2011 will bring. New relationships, a new home, breaking an old habit, starting a new good habit, a big trip, accomplishing a lifelong goal, etc., etc. For me, this past year has been one of tremendous growth and an amazing feeling of fulfillment as my profession in design as found new outlets and a slew of new clients and projects.
I look back to a time not long ago when becoming an interior designer didn't seem possible and it even felt impractical. Going back to school and completely changing my profession at 40 sounded absurd. But I closed my eyes and took a leap of faith.
Now I'm running at full speed and not looking back. I am doing what I love and surrounded by people who are just as obsessed with design as I am.
I guess the moral of my story.....just do it!
