Valentine's Day is supposed to be a day where you show your loved one (a little more than usual) how much you love and care for them. My suggestion for this year's Valentine's Day.....buy a little less and do a little more.
Try having an indoor picnic with your special one; roll out a fluffy blanket in front of your fire place, crack open a bottle of wine and enjoy the warmth.
Not really into romantic stuff? Do something really nice for that someone special. Clean the garage, bathroom or kitchen, take your cars in to get serviced and detailed, or have a family movie night with homemade treats (your family's home videos are always fun and loving to watch!).
You can buy things like chocolates and flowers but thats just stuff. This year, look to use this time to really show your mate, kids, partner that you see them, hear them and love the time you are blessed to have with them.
