Our work, as interior designers, is never quite finished. There's always something that can be tweaked, a little detail missing there, or something new and awesome comes along and would look perfect in a space. That's why we added a few more finishing touches to our room at Project Independence. Now that all of the bedding, towels and other necessities is all delivered, I wanted to add a few more homey touches.
My team and I also took a few seconds to write a little thank you and words of encouragement to the future residents of the rooms. Redoing the rooms were one way of saying 'thank you' but something writing it down is just as meaningful.
I would also like to extend the biggest THANK YOU to all of those who helped with Project Independence! Our rooms wouldn't be half as lovely without the donations and volunteers from hundreds of people!
