This Texas weather has been nothing but absolutely amazing. Sunny skies, cool breezes and plenty of comfy nights have us all wanting to do some gracious outdoor entertaining. Here are some fun suggestions to enjoy this amazing Texas weather we are having!
*During a family party or small get together, set up a lemonade stand. Have several types of lemonades for guests to try including a classic lemonade, a strawberry lemonade and even an adult's only lemonade. Also garnish the table with bowls of fresh cut fruit to soak in the fresh squeezed juice!
*Several Texan homes have firepits or outdoor fireplaces; throw in a few fresh sprigs of rosemary or other herbs into the charcoals. The herbs will lightly scent the air.
*Add twinkle lights to your outdoor setting. String up in trees or across your pergola to add some instant ambiance to your outdoor oasis.
*Create some grilled desserts; create banana boats by grilling bananas and topping with marshmallows and chocolate chips.
*For outdoor parties, set up trays of small things guests might need during the course of the day. Things like bug spray and sun screen are a must in this Texas weather.
*Use potted plants for easy yet beautiful center pieces. The flowers can always be planted into your garden after a party.
