Last week, the By Design Interiors ladies enjoyed a night at the Houston Design Center for their annual Cruise Party. Passports were handed out to be stamped at the different "ports of call" ---the various showrooms throughout the Design Center. Each showroom represented a different country and didn't spare any details with decorations, food and beverages.

The party included freshly made seafood, wine from various countries and a steel drum band for entertainment in the courtyard. Visitors were encouraged to visit all 25 participating showrooms, however most of us became distracted with friends and socialized as we wandered in and out of the building.

My assistant Amber and my new intern Kaitlyn enjoying walking around looking very cruise ready!

The Design House Showroom had one of the most fantastic setups; while serving fresh sushi and saki, the showroom employees were dressed in beautiful kimonos!

My daughter even joined us for the festivities during her break from school.

Some of the beautiful By Design Interior ladies! Katie, Kimberly, me, Erika, Peggy, and Chelsea.
The party lasted well beyond sunset as people gathered around the courtyard to socialize and enjoy the delicious food. This was such a great night! Thanks to all those who made it possible for us to sail away for a while!
Bon Voyage!!!
