To many people, design is just the icing on top of a cake. But oh! It’s far more than just decoration!
Design is about showing people how to live better and enhance their quality of life in their home or office.
Adding a handheld shower head at a lower point in the shower is a simple addition for easier cleaning and maintenance and doesn't interrupt the beautiful tile design.
Good design supports and enables better living. It helps us become more productive in our work environment, feel more relaxed and calm in our bedrooms, and entice people to interact and gather in kitchens and living areas.
Achieving those great moods and feelings require a lot of research and interaction with clients. I ask my clients a whole myriad of questions paying very close attention to their answers. How they live in their existing space and learning about how they want to live in their space help be figure out exactly what they need to change.
This particular client wanted to make her living room more luxurious and cozy. By using larger scale furniture and darkening the mantle and other wood trim, the space immediately became a much more comfortable place to gather.
Anything is possible! You can add a craft space in the family room, a pet wash in the laundry room, or a washer/dryer set in the master closet- all to help a space function and feel great.
