Trying to create the perfect balance of your precious collections and artwork can sometimes be tricky. Better Homes and Gardens did a great job explaining different ways to arrange your collectibles...whether your working on your mantel, a sofa table, or bookshelf.
Creating balance and symmetry can be a great way to display items. Start your arrangement with the largest pieces like your mirror or artwork. Then work your way to the smaller items.
Remember the items don't have to be exactly the same as long as they are similar in color and take up the same amount of visual space. Have fun with your arrangements like they did with the branch...which adds a casual element because it is the item that breaks up the symmetry.
