Dallas Market; Global Views

Last weekend was the Dallas Home and Gifts Market and of course, I had to make the trip to see it. Attending Market is a place for designers to see new products and to get inspiration for furniture arrangements, accessory placements and lighting options.  My favorite showroom, Global Views had the most amazing colors, accessories and vignettes that I have to dedicate an entire blog just to them.

Global Views has been one of my favorite vendors for quite some time now.  Not only are they constantly introducing unique items but their displays are always so incredibly interesting.  My eyes did not stop moving the entire time I we were wandering through the showroom.

Their ingenious way of 'massing' items create such unique 3-dimensional visual effects!  Massing is where you use a large number of items or lots of large items to accessorize a space.

This photo is a great example of massing- they use 9 of a single object to create a mass of interest on one wall.

And this one too!! Those are individual mirrors, 12 in all, to create one giant piece.

This showroom also had the brightest, liveliest colors; everything is always so uplifting and happy.

They also introduced a few new items that Erika had quite an attraction towards.....

YEST!! Those are divers diving down the wall!  And that is a sculpture of a diver diving through hoops!

More photos to come!
