Those of you who know me know that I love country music! Everyone, Jason Aldean to the Zac Brown Band are marvelous songwriters and performers and I can't help but 2-step when I hear a great song. That's why, this summer I am heading to Nashville for the CMA Country Music Festival that takes place for a full week in June.

24 headlining artists including several of my favorites will be performing in various venues and stages throughout the city.
"The artists that participate in CMA Music Festival do so for free, donating their time out of appreciation for the fans. To honor the artists’ dedication and time commitment to the Festival, CMA instituted KEEP THE MUSIC PLAYING to make donations on the artists’ behalf.
Launched in 2001, the program was then dubbed “Cause For Celebration!” From 2001 to 2005, more than $800,000 was donated to more than 100 worthy causes. In 2006, the charity campaign was re-focused to channel financial resources into a single cause: music education. “Keep the Music Playing” was born, and to date nearly $4.8 Million has been contributed. The 2010 contribution of $1,462,468 marks the largest gift to date, following a stellar sell-out year for the Festival."
