So far I have showed you symmetrical displays and groupings but the objects, collections and artwork you have around your house really determine the type of display that will work the best.  If you have one great piece of artwork...not really as big as it should be...and some great smaller collectibles this might be the display for you. The asymmetrical display is all about balancing the visual weight of objects.

Trying to create the perfect balance of your precious collections and artwork can sometimes be tricky.  Better Homes and Gardens did a great job explaining different ways to arrange your collectibles...whether your working on your mantel, a sofa table, or bookshelf.         Creating balance and symmetry can be a great way to display items.

Do you have a collection?  Is it displayed so that it looks more like a pile of stuff gathering dust rather than an amazing collection?  Here are some great ideas that I found on how to display collections to make them show better and be more exciting to look at!!!  When displaying anything it is always better to group similar items. A good example of this idea is the pictures and globes.
