Leaving room to grow in design is vital and is what separates good design from great design. And it sometimes requires a lot of patience. Stuffing every nook and cranny with ‘artificial’ objects- as opposed to meaningful objects that find their way to you over time is much like taking all your family photos at once!

Every time my mom comes to visit me, I love it when she rearranges all of my accessories throughout my home.  And placing accessories is part of my job! But sometimes, when someone else sees your stuff and doesn't have an emotional attachment to the objects, they can arrange and rearrange your things in the most fabulous of ways!  I have a new client who lived with her husband and children in China for the better part of a decade.
