Its really magical how holiday decor can transform our homes during the winter season. Bright festive colors and lights warm our hearts during this chilly weather.

Decorating a Christmas tree is a lot like designing a room- I always strive to create a layered look. This tree is a masterpiece of layering layers of ribbons, large and small ornaments, lights, floral sprigs, floral branches and much more. Full and overstuffed trees are my favorite and I never think there is too much on a tree. Here are a few tips for decorating your tree...

*Floral sprigs can be stuffed into the tree individually or wired together with several other sprigs for a fuller effect.
*Using various ribbons, begin at the top of the tree and wind them down the tree. This is an easy way to add color and sparkle.

*Stuff oversized ornaments into the tree branches while smaller ornaments dance along the outer branches.
*Instead of buying a crazy large tree, set the tree up on a stand and cover the stand with a pretty blanket or skirt. This allows much more room for presents and keeps ornaments well out of the way of pets.
