Spending time with my family has really become such an important part in my life and being able to share incredibly special moments together just makes the memories that much better.
Memorial Day weekend was one of the best weekends I have ever had; I won the 'gold star' for stellar weekends out of everyone in the office! Not to brag, but it was pretty fantastic!
My family and I headed to Dallas, spent a day at Six Flags where we rode all of the rides with minimal lines-- who would have thought the park would be next to empty on the holiday weekend. I'm no sissy either and love the thrills and spins of rollercoasters!
The Great Wolf Lodge where we stayed doubled as a waterpark! Yes, a hotel and theme park all rolled into one. It is arguable that we enjoyed the massive water park more than most of the children splashing around!
But the highlight, top-of-the-world, Pike's Peak best moment of the weekend was sitting 3rd row at the end of the stage at the Brooks and Dunn, Jason Aldean concert! We were close enough to high five them! Close enough to see them sweat! Close enough to get a reaction from them with our crazy antics! We even became stars of the Jumbotron!
Not to brag, but I had an amazing, memorable, pretty fantastic weekend! Thank you to all those who made it so special!
